Director & Photographer

Gabrielle Yu is a director and photographer working across fashion, film and visual storytelling.

Her moving-image work moves between luxury brand campaigns and editorial covers — directing films for CHANEL, Louis Vuitton and MIKIMOTO, and moving covers for ELLE, VOGUE, Cosmopolitan and Harper's Bazaar across China and Asia. Her subjects are the defining faces of a generation: Zhou Dongyu, Jackson Wang, Jang Wonyoung, the members of aespa and XG.

Based in Shanghai and building toward New York, she works bilingually across Chinese, Japanese and Korean productions — equally at home on a bridal campaign for MIKIMOTO and a stadium-scale pop visual.
